A 1980 vintage single cask expression of the rarely seen Allt-A-Bhainne distillery matured for 20 years in a sherry butt. Typically producing both peated and unpeated whisky in a roughly 50/50 ratio, Allt-A-Bhainne was established by Chivas Brothers to help bolster their supply of malt for their signature Chivas blends. This expression was distilled just 5 years after the distillery opened its doors.
