A stunning 1978 vintage expression of Convalmore distilled in 1978 and matured for 24 years before being bottled at 59.4% Abv. Convalmore has seen a number of owners in its time but was brought into the DCL (now Diageo) fold in 1925 with the company's purchase of James Buchanan. The rare malts series was a collection of bottles from Diageo themselves produced during the 1990s and featured otherwise unseen distilleries from their portfolio at the time. These included legendary names such as Port Ellen, Brora and Convalmore.
