Distilled in the Highland Region at Ben Nevis Distillery in the shadow of the UK's highest mountain. This whisky was aged in an ex-bourbon cask for 18 years, bottled at cask strength and non chill filtered. This was a pioneering release for the Australian market in 2015. A parcel of 16 & 18 year old casks from Ben Nevis were bought for the Australian market and were bottled in Scotland for the importer by the independent bottler Douglas of Drumlanrig. This bottle is from cask #11385
