First released in 1997, the Highland Park 25 year old has been a signature release in the distillery's hugely popular portfolio. Between 2006 amd 2013 this age statement was bottled at 48.1% Abv, before becoming a more batch focused release in recent years. These 25 year olds were matured in high quality Spanish sherry casks.

Highland Park

Highland Park has proven to be one of the world's most sought after whiskies, with owners Edrington hailing them alongside their flagship Macallan brand. Produced on the very northern island of Orkney, Highland Park's production method is exceptionally unique as 30% of their malt is peated onsite and the remaining 70% is imported malt from the mainland of Scotland that is unpeated. Once the two are blended together a densely rich and earthy style of spirit is created that is notoriously well adapted for sherry cask maturations.
