The Whisky Set Silent Art Auction Work 3: Peter Davidson Untitled 636, 2022 (Teaninich 10 year old)

On the 15th of February the second year of The Whisky Set's subscription will be launched at No Vacancy Gallery. The special event will feature an auction provided by AWA in which the original artworks from The Whisky Set's 2023 releases will be available for bidding. Four stunning pieces were created by renowned architect Peter Davidson, most known for his work designing Federation Square in Melbourne. Peter suffered a stroke in 2010 and retired from architecture, instead dedicating his time to his artistic practice.

Davidson creates intricate and detailed art pieces using his non-dominant hand, with a focus on patterns and the use of black lines and contrast. Whilst often created using a felt tip on paper, his works have expanded to also use watercolours. All funds raised including the buyer's premium will be donated.
