A special release from the Shizuoka distillery, this expression was crafted utilising 100% Japanese grown barley. Just 2500 bottles were released, with the whisky aged between 3 and 5 years, matured in a variety of casks. Japanese barley single malts are few and far between due to the general lack of barley grown throughout Japan, with many farmers instead opting to grow rice. The pot still K name in this release refers to the fact that the still from the legendary Karuizawa distillery was utilised.
