A single cask expression of Daftmill distilled in 2011 from barley harvested on the estate farm. Aged in a single Oloroso Sherry butt, a relative rarity for Daftmilll who mainly use Bourbon casks. This release was bottled in 2025 exclusively for Royal Mile Whiskies. One of 638 bottles at 59.3% ABV.

Daftmill
A relatively new distillery that was founded in 2005. One of Scotland's smallest distilleries, Daftmill is in exceptionally high demand amongst both collectors and drinkers alike. Located in the Lowlands on the Cuthbert family farm, Daftmill is a genuine grain to glass distillery with all the barley grown on the estate. Whisky making is reserved for only 2 months in the year with typical farm operations taking place in the other 10 months. Despite starting production in 2005, it wasn't until 2018 that Daftmill released their first whisky, a 12 year old ex-bourbon cask bottling.

How much do we pay on top of the bid price?
The buyer's premium is 10% of the final hammer price (inc GST).
Our flat rate shipping across the country starts at $14 for 1 bottles, $20 for 2 and slightly increases from there.
We accept bank transfers (no fees) and debit/credit cards (stripe charges 1.75% visa/mastercard) for payments
Do You Offer Insurance for Loss/Breakage?
The cost of Loss & Breakage Insurance is 1.5% of the hammer price plus commission. This is highly recommended as we will take the upmost care in packaging the dispatching orders carefully and securely, the courier companies will however not take on any liability for items lost or broken in transit.
How Long Until Delivery?
Once payment is received by the Australian Whisky Auctions, your whisky will be dispatched within 5 business days from our warehouse in Melbourne, Victoria.
Depending on your location, this may take up to 10 business days to arrive via Australia post (or a similar courier). This depends on the current delivery times for our main shipping provider, Australia Post - Link
