The first edition of Suntory's 'Custom' blend utilising malt & grain whiskies produced at the Yamazaki distillery. Suntory's initial whisky making began at Yamazaki before moving their grain production to the new Chita distillery in the early 1970's. A rare chance to try 1960's produced Yamazaki malt & grain whiskies. This bottle shape was used for the first 2 years of release before changing to a more yellow and gold screw capped label in the 1970's.
