A stunning 2011 special release of the closed Rosebank distillery. This triple distilled single malt was distilled in 1990 and matured for 21 years in refill American and European oak casks before being bottled at 53.8% Abv.

Rosebank

A recently revived distillery, Rosebank closed in 1993 after United Distillers mothballed it. The site was sold in 2002 and a housing development intended to be built on it, only for little progress to be made and a revival effort made in 2008. This would also lack traction and it wasn't until 2017 when Ian MacLeod distillers purchased the distillery that Rosebank lived once again. The owners have released a number of aged expressions from old stock whilst they wait for their new make to age, but demand for old bottlings has surged with many enthusiasts heralding Rosebank as the premier Lowlands whisky maker.
